The Chicks Received An Apology Letter From The Woman Referenced In “Not Ready To Make Nice”
The Chicks said they received an apology letter from the woman referenced in their Grammy-winning song, “Not Ready to Make Nice”.
“She wrote us a very kind, apologetic letter, and that was sweet. It was something. Meanwhile, we were ‘skanks and bimbos.'”
The line about the woman is, quote, “It’s a sad, sad story when a mother would teach her daughter that she oughta hate a perfect stranger.”
The Chicks are on a tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of “Taking the Long Way”, the album that song was on.
