Kacey Musgraves To Release 16-Track Album ‘Middle Of Nowhere Vol. 2’
Kacey Musgraves is releasing a new 16-song album titled “Middle of Nowhere Vol. 2: Tex Mex Tapes” on January 15, 2027.
The project arrives just eight months after Vol. 1 and continues themes of “solitude, contentment, and finding beauty in the in-between.”
Four tracks are sung entirely in Spanish, including a newly recorded version of “Uncertain, TX” featuring Norteño group Intocable.
Two songs drop Thursday: “Weekend In Texas” and a cover of the Norteño classic “Mi Tesoro.”
Musgraves heads into this year’s CMA Awards with five nominations, including Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
