Dolly Parton Musical Announces Cast
A Broadway musical honouring the late Dolly Parton has revealed its five lead cast members, personally selected by Parton before her passing.
Katie Rose Clarke returns as adult Dolly, reprising her Nashville production role.
Carrie St. Louis plays a young Dolly chasing her Nashville dreams, while 11-year-old Norah Nunes portrays her as a child.
John Behlmann plays Parton’s husband Carl Dean, and Gabriel Ebert portrays country star Porter Wagoner.
The show features classics like “Jolene” and “9 to 5,” alongside new songs Parton wrote specifically for Broadway.
Producers are partnering with New York City public schools to offer 30,000 free student tickets during the first year.
Preview performances begin December 7th at St. James Theatre, with opening night set for January 19th, 2027.
