Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” Nears Historic Record With 18th Week At No. 1

Ella Langley’s blockbuster hit “Choosin’ Texas” has now logged its 18th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, putting it within just one week of tying the longest-running non-holiday song in chart history.

The track first topped the list back in February and has already broken multiple chart records.

Only Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” hold the non-holiday record at 19 weeks each. Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” leads all songs with 22 weeks at No. 1.

Country music continues its chart dominance, claiming four of the Hot 100’s top five spots this week.
